There was no way to get the whole picture and still see the sheep. But hopefully this will give a little perspective. The sheep are left unattended on the steep 'pasture' all summer. They are dropped off and picked up by boat. The pasture is about twice the size you see. They can't get lost and there are no predators. This was in the Lysefjord. The 4 hour ferry ride was spectacular!
